We are Lynne and Graeme,

After owning a holiday home in the Dordogne for a number of years and countless enjoyable times in France, we decided to relocate here and try our own version of a life in the sun. Our search led us to discover Wisteria Gites in the Pays de la Loire and we simply fell in love with it! We’re in a really nice area with lots to do and its also handy for Ferries and Trains. There are Bars, Boulangeries, Restaurants and even a good supermarket and filling station less than ten minutes drive away.

We’re both seasoned house renovators, so after moving in, we were under no illusions as to the amount of work we faced. We have now spent almost two years completely restoring the property to a high standard, without losing any of its charm and identity, whilst adding a little luxury along the way. The arrival of high speed fibre internet even allows our guests to work remotely, if they feel they must :)

We do genuinely love Wisteria Gites and hope you will too. We’re in a quiet, peaceful area of France, where children can play in the extensive gardens and no real light pollution gives us an amazing canopy of stars at night. The heated outdoor pool is an inviting place on a hot sunny day and our covered barn means you can still have fun outdoors, whatever the weather. As we only take one booking at a time, you have exclusive use of all the guest facilities. We live in a separate house on the property, so if you find there’s something that would make your holiday even better, please let us know.
